Matthew Wayne Burruss, age 39, of Rocky Mount passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022. Matt is survived by the love of his life, fiancé Melissa Spicer, his four wonderful children, Damian, Chasey, Jasmine and Matthew that he loved with his whole heart. He is also survived by his parents, Stuart (Chico) and Denise, grandparents, Red and “Nana” Nancy, siblings, Josh and Kala, best friend Skyler, and so many others that he cared for and loved. Matt always put others needs before his own. His kind heart and fun spirit will be greatly missed. Services will be private. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
