Matthew Lee Dillon

Matthew Lee Dillon, age 27 of Scruggs died Wednesday, July 21, 2010. He was born September 28, 1982 and was preceded in death by his half sister, Tina Dillon Hartman; and grandparents, Roy and Goldie Perdue. Surviving are his son, Austin Lee Dillon; parents, Richard and Ethel Dillon; brother, Jason Dillon; grandparents, Vernon and Elsie Dillon; half-sister, Rhonda Dillon; many aunts and uncles; and special friend and lawyer, Will Davis. Matt enjoyed hunting and spending time with his son, Austin who was the love of his life. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with Minister Steve Pasley officiating. Interment will follow in Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
