Matthew Norwood Dudley

Matthew Norwood Dudley, age 39 of Rocky Mount passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Norwood Dudley; paternal grandparents, Hedrick and Gladys Dudley; maternal grandparents, Roy and Edith Perdue. He is survived by his mother, Judy Shively; son, Cole Tatum Dudley; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy and Byron Guilliams, Angel and Kelli Brown; nephew, Chase Guilliams; niece, Maddison Brown; girlfriend, Jenny Agee; former wife, Misty Martin; his two beloved dogs, Stewart and Emma; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed. Matthew was a master electrician with Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for many years. He loved his job and his co-workers which he thought of as his family. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity. His family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount. “We love you little brother and your moma will always love her only son".
