Maxine S. Sink

Maxine S. Sink, age 94 of Wirtz went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 9, 2025. She was born November 4, 1930 in Callaway, VA a daughter of the late Flemon and Eula Martin Sigmon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Jimmie C. Sink; son, Ricky (Pat) Sink; son-in-law, Doug Holland; two sisters and six brothers. Surviving are her daughters, Bonnie S. Holland and Susan (Wallace) Crowe; son, Mike (BJ) Sink; grandchildren, Jeff (Vicki) Sink, Todd (Karen) Crowe, Blake (Christy) Holland, Kim (Doug) Cooper, Lindsey Sink, Lance (Jenny) Sink, Eric (Lauren) Sink, Travis Sink and Jamie (Zach) Pugh; 13 precious great-grandchildren; many beloved family and friends; and caregiver, Mary Douthat. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Burnt Chimney United Methodist Church or Good Samaritan Hospice. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 12:00 noon Friday, September 12, 2025 with Chaplain Bobby Pickle and Rev. Tina Yates officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
