Maxine Wade Underwood

Maxine Wade Underwood, age 71 of Ferrum, Va. went to be with the Lord on Friday May 14, 2010. She was born September 8, 1938, daughter of the late Tom and Hilda Wade also of Ferrum. Surviving are her sons; Tim Belcher and wife Darlene, Tony Belcher and wife Shirley and Brian Underwood; her brothers and sisters-in-law; Bobby Wade and wife Shirley, Johnny Wade and T.W. Wade and wife Kimberly; also two nephews and two nieces. A special thanks to the Patio Nurses Station and Staff at the Golden Living Center in Martinsville, Va. The family reguests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Ferrum Rescue Squad or the Ferrum Fire Department P.O. Box 160 Ferrum, Va. 24088. Her family will be receiving friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral & Cremation Service, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Tony and Shirley Belcher, 1544 King Richard Rd. Ferrum, Va. 24088.
