Mcarther Junier Cook

Mcarther Junier Cook "Mack" passed away at the age of 78 on Friday  February 12, 2021. He passed quietly surrounded by his loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his mother Glener Cook, one brother and two sisters.

Mack was born and raised in Rocky Mount especially the Sontag area. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, farming, gardening, and working with his hands.  He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Rocky Mount.

Mack leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and so many more to cherish his memory.

His immediate family would like to send a heartfelt thank you of appreciation and gratitude to Medi Home Health and Hospice in Roanoke. Thank you for the love and support you gave us 24/7, with no questions asked. Thank you for caring for Mack, we greatly appreciate it.

Also, we would like to thank Samantha Goff for being a fabulous caregiver.

Memorial services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2021 with Pastor Christopher Coates officiating the service.
