Melissa Kay Perdue Ingram, age 48 of Fork Mountain Road, Bassett, Virginia, a beloved wife, mother, and sister went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 7, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John J. (Jim) and Peggy H. Perdue.
She is survived by her husband, Donald W. Ingram, Jr. and two sons, Jeremy D. Hudson and Justin K. Ingram, all of the home. Also surviving are her two sisters, Donna and Butch Walker, Martha and Gary Meeks; and two brothers, Michael and Glenda Perdue, Ricky Perdue; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Marian Ingram.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 8 p.m. from the Blue Ridge Gospel Tabernacle in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been setup at MDCU, c/o Donald W. Ingram, Jr. and Melissa Ingram, P.O. Box 2158, Martinsville, Va. 24113.
