Melvin Losson "Doc" Dillon

Melvin Losson “Doc” Dillon, age 91 of Wirtz went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 21, 2023. He was born July 22, 1932 to the late Joseph Lewis Dillon and Geneva Horne Dillon. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Lawson Dillon; and many brothers and sisters. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Dorothy English Dillon of Wirtz; his daughter, Vicky Young (Eddie) of Ferrum; his grandson, Nathaniel Wayne Young; along with many nieces and nephews. Out of respect for the family’s wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
