Melvin Gary Mullins

Melvin Gary Mullins, age 80 of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was born December 3, 1943 a son of the late Gary and Mary Poff Mullins. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jason Mullins. Surviving are a daughter, Joleigh Medley; several grandchildren; his nieces, Pam West (Tommy), Tiffany O’Neill (Todd) and nephew, Gary Shively; great-nieces and nephews, Aaron West, Hunter West, Victoria O’Neil, Hannah and Sarah Shively along with many wonderful close friends. Melvin was loved and cherished by his girls, Marsha Ann Vest, Jessica Ann Link, Hope Nichole Howard, Emory Ann Clark and Avery Joe Link. He was a huge fan of NASCAR. A graveside service will be held at Story Creek Baptist Church Cemetery 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024. His family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
