Michael Wayne Floria

Michael Wayne (Young) Floria, age 64 of Vinton passed away Friday February 12, 2016. Mike was a true gift from God who was loved very much by his family, especially his heart family. Mike loved his music, dancing, dogs and his heart family but most of all he loved his Jesus. He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Narva Adams. Also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Grady V. and Stella V. Young, who raised him, they are referred as his heart family; heart brothers, Gary and Roger Young. Surviving are his sister Donna Jean Gantt, (Danny); brothers, Ricky, Danny and Stevie Floria; his heart brothers, Grady V. Young (Martha) and Denny K. Young; heart sisters, Iva Jean Howard (Charles), Linda Hughes (Randy), Becky Widner (Roger), care giver and heart sister, Glenna Settle (Steve); many nieces and nephews whom Mike loved very much. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Flora Funeral Chapel with Pastor Matt Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
