Michael Narmour

Michael Wayne Narmour, age 58 went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 1, 2017 at his home in Ferrum, Virginia. The youngest of four siblings, Michael was born in Dallas, Texas on July 28, 1959 to Arthur and Lenora Narmour of Lancaster. While attending Elsie Robertson High School he met Ginger Linthicum on the marching band practice field. Sweethearts through high school and college, they were married in January 1982, remaining inseparable and devoted until their last day together. Michael attended Stephen F. Austin State University and obtained a degree in Business Administration. He was a proud US Navy veteran, serving as an Avionics Technician Petty Officer 1st Class for 7 years before pursuing a 20 year career in Cellular Network Switch Engineering. Michael and Ginger have been proud homeschooling parents for over 26 years to their four daughters, Courtney, Lindsey, Caitlin, and Kelsey. Michael's passion for learning along with them and pursuing every task, no matter how small, with curiosity and jubilance was evident in both his personal and professional life. Family and friends are invited to attend the graveside service, which will take place Friday, September 8, 2017, at 1 p.m. in Mountain View Memorial Park, with Rev. Rick Poland officiating. The family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to all those who have been praying for them and thinking of them during this time.
