Michael Neal Neice

Michael Neal Neice, age 62 of Rocky Mount passed away, Thursday, May 21, 2026. He was born on August 30, 1963 in Rocky Mount, VA to the late Paul Neice Sr. and Myrtle Lucille Neice.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Neice, Paul Neice Jr., Eddie Neice and Anthony Neice; and sisters, Ruth Neice and Sheila Neice.

He is survived by one daughter, Candace Lockard and her family; his brother, Roger Neice (Barbara); and sisters, Gladys Wright and Ruby Peters (Jay); along with several nieces and nephews. Two of which who were always there to help, Kevin Dillon and Nicholas Neice.

Mike was blessed to have so many friends. Some of whom were more like sisters and brothers to him. They were always there for Mike whenever he called or needed them, Bill Davis, Iris Akers, Patty Nichols and Sarah Yopp. Also, Sammy St. Clair who Mike worked for until his health would no longer allow him to.

Mike is gone but he will not be forgotten.

His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
