Michael James Rigney, age 39 of Bassett, Virginia died Friday, February 1, 2008.
He was preceded in death by a son, Dakota James Rigney; his mother, Linda Blankenship; grandparents, Harry and Annie Mae Rigney, Laymond Blankenship.
He is survived by his wife and companion, Tiffany Jamison; his daughters, Tabbitha Nicole Rigney and Elizabeth Claire Rigney; father, James Junior Rigney and Jacqueline Shorter; brother, Tracy and Susan Rigney; sister, Tammy and Lonnie Weaver; grandmothers, Rachel Blankenship and Evelyn Hagee.
Graveside services will be conducted from Mountain View Memorial Park 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Rick Poland officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
