Michael "Mike" Wayne Foley

Michael “Mike” Wayne Foley, age 66 of Ferrum, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 peacefully at his home after a battle with congestive heart failure. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Odell Foley and Clara Doshia Foley; father-in-law, Claudie Young; as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Mike is survived by his wife and life long partner, Alicia Foley; son, Christopher Foley; daughter, April Foley (James Austin); grandchildren, Kristen Austin, Gage Austin, and Joshua Austin; brothers, Glenn Foley (Tina), Ralph Foley, Lanny Foley (Susan), and Gerald Foley (Cathy); very special aunt, Nancy Craddock; mother-in-law, Thelma Young; as well as numerous nieces. Mike loved his family unconditionally. Even though a failing heart took him from this world, he leaves behind a beacon of light and love. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
