Mildred Alice Gravely Chase

Mildred Alice Gravely Chase, age 88 yrs., of Glade Hill passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Aubrey “Buddy” Hodges. She is survived by her husband, William Stuart “Bill” Chase; her children, Jean Wright (Mike), Debra Perdue (Mike), Barbara Mills (Tony), Glenn Hodges (Beth), Richard Hodges (Lisa); step children, Will Chase, Wendy Ramsey, Jennifer Lund (Roger); grandchildren, Brian, Brad, Jason, Matthew, Travis, Kevin, Brittany and Megan; step grandchildren, Candice and Tonilynn, Keane, Zack, Keigh, Colton; and 11 great-grandchildren. Our mother asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Kidney Foundation or Red Oak Manor. Memorial services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017 with Rev. J. Larry Holland officiating. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
