Miles Walter Markham

Miles Walter Markham, age 80 of Ferrum died Friday, September 27, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Markham; and his parents, Gilbert and Thalia Markham. Surviving are his daughter, Sandra Brannen of Georgia; sons, Doyle Markham of Henry, Terry Markham of Glade Hill, Robert Markham of Ferrum; James Markham of Ferrum; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Georgie, Judy, Joe and Tom. Graveside services will be conducted from Endicott Hill Cemetery 2 p.m. Monday. His family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
