Morton Lee (RePete) Hodges, Jr., age 63 of Hardy died Thursday, October 11, 2007.
He was born February 23, 1944 a son of the late Henry Morton (Pete) and Ruth Matthews Hodges.
He was a graduate of Roanoke College and was a successful business and family man.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Rosemary K. Hodges; sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Jaime Hodges, Christiansburg, Ben and Erin Hodges, Hardy; his grandchildren, Katy, Josh, Grace, Naomi, Rose, Timothy and Emily; brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Peco) and Robin Hodges; sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne H. and Randy Dye; his “favorite” mother-in-law, Nellie Kirk; nieces, Sarah and Heather; nephew Joshua. He is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. David Fraser officiating. Interment will be private.
Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. Friday with his family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, Virginia and other times at the home of Ben and Erin Hodges in Hardy.
