Myrtle Cundiff Carter

Myrtle Cundiff Carter, age 83, of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday June 2, 2012. She was born August 9, 1928 a daughter of the late William Thomas and Mattie Brooks Cundiff and was also preceded in death by her son Buford Allen Carter, brother Billy Cundiff and brother-in-law Ben Hunt. Surviving are her daughter Theresa Millard of Rocky Mount, sons J.B. Carter of Ferrum, John D. Carter of Washington, grandchildren; Justin, Brian, Matthew and Cassandra, sisters, Juanita Plybon (Calvin), Jewell Hunt and Betty Hunley (Donnie), brothers Herbert (Joyce), Andrew (Lottie) and Bobby Cundiff (Brenda) sister-in-law, Elva Cundiff several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Franklin County Animal Shelter. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 5, 2012 at Franklin Memorial Park with Elder Junior Conner and Elder Larry Hollandsworth officiating. Her family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
