Nadine Goode

Virgia Nadine Goode, age 82 of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Chitwood and Della Chitwood Jones; sisters, Aurelia Ann Fields, Joyce Elaine Chitwood and brothers, Carl Junior Chitwood and Jewell Chitwood.  Nadine is survived by her brother, Euell Chitwood; two special nieces, Dena Webb Jefferson and Jennifer Chitwood along with many more nieces and nephews. Nadine loved the outdoors including all her flowers and trees. She worked at Ronile doing textile work and attended Henry Fork Community Church. A graveside service will be held at the Rigney Family Cemetery, 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2023 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating.
