Nancy Mildred Lynch Cooper

Nancy Mildred Lynch Cooper, 85, of Rocky Mount passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Trinity Mission of Rocky Mount. She was born in Redwood, VA on February 9, 1927. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hunt Cooper; parents, Vernon Lee and Eliza Harrison Lynch; and her daughter, Brenda Sue Cooper Scarborough. She is survived by her son-in-law, Donnie R. Scarborough of Jacksonville, FL; her granddaughter, Christi Molina of Orange Park, FL; her great-granddaughters, Isabel Molina, Tatiana Molina; and great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Jammes; and her great-great-granddaughter, Laila Ramos of Orange Park, FL. A special thanks from the family to Melisa Legans her caregiver. Funeral Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church with the Reverend Bruce D. Tuttle officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church, 35 North Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 or their favorite charity.
