Nancy Brown Poindexter

Nancy Brown Poindexter, age 75 of Union Hall, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Etta Brown; her daughter, Sherry Lynn; three brothers and one sister. Surviving are her husband, Glen Poindexter; son, Jay Poindexter and wife Jennifer; three grandchildren, Logan, Dylan, and Ethan; three nephews; two sisters-in-law; and special friends, Joyce Weaver, Joyce Morton, and Regina Belcher. Special thanks to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County for their care and concern including Farrah, Karen, and Emily. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 at Mountain View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of choice. Her family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
