Nancy Pugh Hodges, age 81 of Rocky Mount started her walk with Jesus into paradise surrounded by her family singing, praying and rejoicing reuniting with her husband, Allen Lee Hodges on Saturday, June 1, 2019. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Vernie Pugh; brother and sisters, Dalton Pugh, Clara Talbert and Margie Altice; mother and father-in-law, Walter and Lottie Hodges; sister-in-law, Alice Lovell; and brother-in-law, Russell Hodges. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Allison (Johnny) Nunley; grandson, Zachary; granddaughter, Michaela; sister, Faye Ray; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Velma (Ed) Turner; sister-in-law, Edith Hodges; niece, Anne (Marvin) Perdue; along with many other nieces and nephews. After retiring from MW Manufacturing, Nancy enjoyed helping others including Stepping Stones and Trinity Mission bingo. Being a faithful servant of Flint Hill United Methodist Church whose holy spirit shown so bright will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Flint Hill United Methodist Church, c/o Nancy Hodges Memorial Fund, 522 Booker T. Washington Highway, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Funeral Services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 with Rev. Anthony Budzik officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
