Nannie Geneva Boone

Nannie Geneva (Law) Boone, age 87 of Rocky Mount left this world to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents John Willie and Sallie Law; husband, Thomas; son, Kenny; daughter-in-law, Gwen; four brothers, Alfred, Buren, Charlie, and Frank; nine brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Geneva is survived by her children, Elaine Garrett, Jerry, Roger (Jean) and Lynn Allman; four grandchildren Chris, Cara, Collin and Bethany; four great-grandchildren Ashley, Ella, Isaac and Reagan; brother A.C. (Paulette) Law; sister-in-law Frances Law; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bob (Betsy), Claude (Carol), Ralph (Mary), Buren (Karen), Dewaine Boone, Hazel Boone and Johnny Brooks. Granny Boone loved our Lord, her children, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is now at peace and in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 with Pastor John Collins and Rev. Harry Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Clearview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice. Her family respectfully requests no food. Her family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
