Nannie Hodges Holland

Nannie Hodges Holland, age 81 of Glade Hill passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Mrs. Holland was born March 5, 1936, a daughter of the late, John William (Cova) and Pearl Hodges. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Holland; brother, Walter Hodges; sisters, Irene McGuire, Peggy Hawks, Gertrude Prater and Edith Wray. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Smith (Billy Joe); grandchildren, Tina Sue Manning (Steve), Betty Jo Pickeral and BJ Smith (Amy); step-granddaughter, Krystal Holland Woolridge; six great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Lynch, Elizabeth Holcomb (Blaine), Joyce Hudson, Maxine Weeks (Wayne) and Brenda Furrow (Wray); sister-in-law, Sylvia Hodges; very special niece, Sandra Scott. Funeral services will be conducted from Henry Fork Church of the Brethren 2 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Hodges-Lynch Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Henry Fork Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
