Nellie Muse Bousman

Nellie Muse Bousman, age 93, of Penhook Va., died Thursday, February 5, 2009. She was the oldest member of Cool Spring Christian Church, where she formerly was pianist for Sunday School. Mrs. Bousman was born July 9, 1915 a daughter of the late William & Lizzie Cooper Muse. Also preceding in death was her husband, Walter Bousman; sister, Mary Crist; four brothers, Raymond, Stafford, Sherrard, Cecil Muse. Surviving are her daughters & sons-in-law Elizabeth & Fred Finney , Dorothy & Bob Beavers all of Vinton, Marie & Jimmy Arrington of Martinsville; grandchildren, Deborah Hungerford, Allison Bragg, Lisa Houston, Sandy O’Neil, Ronnie Arrington, Angela Brown; six great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Louise Muse; several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 7, 2009 with the Rev. Ron Hennis & Rev. Roy Parker officiating . Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
