Nellie M. Eley

Nellie M. Eley, age 93 of Wirtz passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Betts; and mother, Carrie Stark. Surviving are her children, Clayton Betts, Raymond Betts, Elizabeth “Sis” Kuykendall and Glenn Betts; brother, Kenny Stark; sister, Janet Cox; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She resided in Franklin County with Clayton and David and her two dogs, Cysco and Buddie. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
