Nellie Adele Oxley

Nellie Adele Oxley, age 95 of Rocky Mount passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Oxley; mother, Bessie Mullins Harris; father, William Thomas Harris; sister, Evelyn Holmes; brother, Roger Harris. Nellie is survived by her nieces, Donna Dillon and Marilyn Vaughn and a nephew, Roy Stone, Jr. The family shares special thanks to her caregivers, Vickie Hunt and Cathy Morrison for the care they gave. Graveside services will be conducted at High Street Cemetery, 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating.
