Norman Blankenship, age 65 of Rocky Mount, passed away Thursday June 25, 2015. Surviving are his wife Sandra Elaine Blankenship, three daughters, Brandance Blankenship of Durham, NC., Heather Jackson (Zach) of Ferrum, Sarah Walker (Jonathan) Jacksonville, NC, granddaughters, Kaylah Taylor, Lily Grace, Emma Skye and Ava Lynn, great-grandsons, Quintin and Quemari; brother-in-law Tony Allgood of Brodnax, Va. sisters, Mildred Thompson of Martinsville, Oakie Mabelline Hawks of Roanoke, mother-in-law Carrie Allgood, Brodnax, VA . Memorial services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday June 28, 2015 at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating.
