Okey Wayne Bowman

Okey Wayne Bowman, 79, of Callaway, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 in his home. He was born November 7, 1937. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Mohler) Bowman, sons, Dwight and Vanessa of Callaway, Clayton and Marla, of Westphalia, KS, Clifford and Debra, of Callaway and Marcus of Callaway, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, brothers, Elwood and Catherine, Eldon and Brenda, Galen and Vickie, sister, Wylenia and Wayne Layman, brother-in-law, Randolph and Arlene Brunk, sister-in-law, Lois Jean Mohler, brother-in-law, J.D. and Gay Mohler and many nephews and nieces. Okey was preceded in death by a son, Delbert Bowman, his parents, Ezra and Annie (Montgomery) Bowman, sister, Rebecca Brunk and one great-granddaughter, Sierra Heck. Funeral services will be conducted at Mountain View Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 with the Home Brethren officiating. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday, 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and viewing prior to the service on Monday, all at the church. Interment will follow in Franklin Clearview Cemetery.
