Ollie Farmer Mcmillan

Ollie “Tennie” Farmer McMillan, age 83 of Henry passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012. She was a loving mother and wife. A member of Providence Baptist Church, she was active in the WMU. Born March 22, 1929, she was a daughter of 18 children born to the late Thomas and Sarah Spencer Farmer. Also preceding her in death were her son, Dexter McMillan and seven siblings. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Oscar McMillan; daughter, Marie Yount; daughter-in-law, Henrietta McMillan; two grandsons, Daniel Yount and Donald Yount and wife Melissa; one great-grandchild, Kasey Yount; brothers and sisters, Helen Moody (and her children, William Moody, Cathy Combs, and Jerry L. Moody), Eva May Farmer, Myrtle Carver, Mildred Murphy, Juanita Howard, Sandy Mash, Raymond Farmer, Junior Farmer, Frank Farmer and Larry Farmer; and special friend, Jimmie Sloan. Her family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Chapel with services at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
