Opal Hancock Arduino

Opal Hancock Arduino, age 96 of Rocky Mount, VA and formerly of College Park, MD finished her earthly journey peacefully Wednesday, July 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter F. Hancock and Cora Foster Hancock; her husband, Anthony Arduino (Tony); brothers, Walter Hancock, Frank Mason Hancock, Posey Hancock, Harold Hancock, and James Russell Hancock; sisters, Eliza Hancock Davis, Mary Hancock Reynolds, Nellie Hancock, Alice Hancock Souther, Viola Hancock Roberts, Doris Hancock Mason, and Serena Hancock Powell. Opal is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Opal was a member of Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her generous, giving spirit and her infectious smile.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16th at Flora Funeral Chapel with Pastor Greg Broyles officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
