Ora Rigney Davidson

Ora Rigney Davidson, age 86 of Penhook passed away Monday February 25, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband C. T. Davidson; son John Clark Davidson; daughters Delores Bennett and Carolyn Jones. Mrs. Davidson was a member of Cool Springs Christian Church and she loved to quilt. Surviving are children and spouses Preston and Rosalind Davidson, Jerry and Jeanneane Davidson, Ricky S Davidson, Dennis L. Davidson, Bruce C. Davidson, Serena and Jason Clark; grandchildren Gina and Nikki Davidson, Todd and Dale Bennett, Scott Davidson, Donna Brown, Tommy Davidson; great-grandchildren Kiani and Adriana Davidson, Blake Brown, Austin Brown, Gabriel Brown, Ashton Davidson, Lane and Marissa Bennett; three sisters Elsie Tuck, Gladys Scott, and Odessa Shelton; special friend Mae Poindexter. Those wishing to make memorials should consider the Cool Branch Rescue Squad, the Cool Springs Christian Church or Snow Creek Rescue Squad. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Roy Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
