Ora Christine Fretwell Hylton

Ora Christine Fretwell Hylton, age 94 of Bassett passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the home of her daughter. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Vince and Olia Spencer Fretwell; husband, Cecil Blanton Hylton; great grandson, Owen Atkins; brothers, Cloid, Bernard, Herschel, Elmer and Dewey Randolph Fretwell. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Frances Atkins (Mike); grandsons, David Atkins (Beth) and Charles Atkins (Tammy); and one great-granddaughter, Emilia Atkins. A graveside service will be conducted at Blackberry Baptist Church Cemetery 2 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
