Ora Trail Gillispie, age 82 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, November 13, 2007.
She was born August 11, 1925 a daughter of the late Jackie and Susie Trail and was a member of Long Branch Primitive Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Gillispie; sisters, Lucy Moore, Mae Peters and Elsie Dixon; brothers, Harry, Cleve and Jeff Trail.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Ramona and Alfred Perdue; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and DeEtta Gillispie; grandchildren and spouses, Kim and Duane Davis, Kelly and Ray Novak, Cliff and Lena Gillispie and Bryan Gillispie; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Kaleigh Wood, Cayman Davis, Jacob, Savannah and Evie Novak, Madison, Cassidy and Jessica Gillispie and Logan Smith; sisters, Myrtle Scott and Iva Bowling; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marie and Ran Shelton, Helen and Murphy Shively, Viola Rutledge, Ida Gillispie, Harriett Gillispie, Glen and Mary Gillispie.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
