In loving memory of Oscar Rivera gone home to be with his precious Lord and Savior.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Donna Marie Rivera; his son, Oscar R. Rivera (OJ) from Roanoke; his beloved mother and father-in-law, George and Edna Oeser of Snow Creek, VA; his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Debbie Oeser and nephew, Larry Lee Oeser from NJ; mother and father, Carmen Tores Rivera and Raymond Rivera Sr. (Papi); two sisters, Haydee Alvardo, Elana Rivera; one brother, Raymond Rivera, Jr., all from Perth Amboy, NJ; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; a close and dear friend Ricky Whitenak of Roanoke; many friends in New Jersey and Virginia.
Funeral services will be conducted from Woodlawn Baptist Church 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with expenses. His family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
