Ottis Blanford Prillaman, age 77 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 in a Roanoke hospital.
He was born on October 27, 1929 a son of the late Blanford and Robbie Dodson Prillaman, and was also preceded in death by a nephew, Max Prillaman.
Mr. Prillaman retired from the Rocky Mount Post Office as a Rural Letter Carrier.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Masterson Prillaman; daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Rick Peterson, Jenny and Tom Painter; his grandchildren, Julie Peterson, Trudy Painter and Joey Painter; brother and sister-in-law, Joel and Loretta Prillaman; nephews, Reece, Wes and Steven.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11a.m. Saturday with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
The family will be receiving friends Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
