Owen Henry "Buddy" Hodges

Owen Henry “Buddy” Hodges, age 56 of Rocky Mount, passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday morning, June 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Walter Angle Hodges and nephew, David Hodges. He is survived by his significant other, Stephanie, his son, Ryan Hodges ; mother, Gladys Holt (Wayne); three sisters, Janice Hodges, Debra Hodges (Eddie) and Sandi Hodges; eight nieces and nephews, Lee (T.J.), Angel (Steve), Michala, Star (Jason Hodges), Eric Chisom (Kathy), Rebel Hodges, Joanna Wright (Justin), Chris Spencer (Rita), Jamie Amos (Michelle) and numerous great nieces and nephews. Buddy had a lot of close friends including, Randy Young, Denny Lawless, Lewis Amos, and Jake Atkinson. He was in his element when he was outdoors fishing, gardening and helping others. Funeral services will be conducted at Faith Fellowship Church, 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Gary Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
