In Loving Memory of Pamela Taylor Wade

"Come to me all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I give you rest."

(Matthew 11:28)

Pamela Regina Taylor Wade 57 peacefully left her earthy home in Wirtz, Virginia on Sunday morning November 1, 2020. She was born February 3, 1963 the third child and only daughter of Forest Dillon Taylor and Irene Fuller Taylor.  She was preceded in death by her Father, her maternal Grandmother Nora Ellen Fuller and her paternal Grandparents Jim Tom and Margaret Wright Taylor. At an early age, Pamela "Pam" accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at First Mount Airy Missionary Baptist Church of Hardy, VA.  Pam was educated in the Franklin County Public Schools. She had a variety of employments beginning with a job as a Secretary at Roanoke Water Plant, 7-Eleven, Hardees and at Interstate Stamping & Manufacturer Company with her brother Ronnie as her Supervisor.  She would tell her Mom that out of all the employees, he gave her the hardest assignments. ("Smile") It must have been because he knew she would do a good job!  She even had a short career at modeling. Pam was a smart, intelligent person with an invincible spirit. Her Mom & brother Donnie could vouch for her business savvy because she managed many of their business affairs. Pam has been suffering many years with Stage 4 lung cancer. Nevertheless, she showed determination to keep pressing onward. She did not let this terminal illness keep her from living. She rose many days from her bed to go, no matter how weak she was. By God's mercy, He gave her the strength to endure the pain until He was ready to end her suffering and let her Rest In Peace. Pamela will be greatly missed. Those left to reminisce, reflect and cherish her memory are her son Forrest (Alisha )Taylor & his father Edmund Jenkins, all of  Roanoke, Va., her loving mother   Irene Taylor and devoted caregiver of Wirtz, VA., grandson and granddaughter Jeremiah and Graceland Taylor, two brothers Ronnie & Donnie "Duck" Taylor both of Wirtz, VA., three nephews Ron Dustin (Erika)Taylor Hardy, VA., Nick Taylor Charlottesville, VA., & Tito Shain, Rocky Mt.
