Patricia Joy Flora

Patricia Joy Flora, age 63 of Rocky Mount died Friday, June 25, 2010 as the result of an automobile accident. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ruth Freed of Nappanee, IN. Surviving are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Chris Woods, Amy and James Sink; grandchildren, Ryan and Lindsey Bowman, Allyson Shockley and husband Brian, Dustin Carter, Terry Sink, III, Christopher Sink; great-grandchild, Trey Shockley; two step-great-grandchildren, Hunter and Logan Shockley; three sisters, Donna Weaver, Kathleen Farmwald, Doris Peach and husband Steve; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Andrew Gray. Memorial services will be conducted from Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Bruce Huffman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society, 18401 Virgil H. Goode Highway, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 or Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren, 2363 Brick Church Road, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral & Cremation Service, Rocky Mount.
