Patricia “Trish” Faye Perdue entered her heavenly home peacefully on October 16th, 2021 after a lengthy battle with health issues. Trish was born to Franklin Roosevelt Nichols and Gladys Helen Nichols on July 31st, 1973. She grew up in the Greens Creek area of Callaway, Virginia where her parents are laid to rest. She was also preceded in death by her sister Wanda Nichols, her brother, David Nichols, brother-in-law, Jason Perdue as well as her nephew, Shane Nichols.
Left on earth to treasure her memory are former husband, Sean Perdue, father of her children whom loved her dearly; Brittney Perdue (fiancé William Fulcher), son Stephen Perdue, both of Franklin County. Trish also is loved and remembered by her special life partner and friend, Andrew Metz as well as her heart dog, Bella. She is also loved and remembered by a multitude of siblings, nephews/nieces, cousins and friends.
Trish spent many years assisting in the success of Franklin Outdoors while it was owned by the Perdue family. She met and loved many customers whom she grew to know over the years.
Our mom loved to fish, go camping and was an exceptional artist although not many were privileged to see her art work. In her prime she was able to harvest deer with her bow and would stand a high chance of outshooting some of the most skilled archers.
We ask that in lieu of flowers, you may consider making a donation in Trish’s honor to your local SPCA or any non-profit focused toward the care of animals.
Memorial service will be conducted at Flora Chapel, 6:00 p.m., Tuesday October 19, 2021 with Pastor Jeff Gardner officiating. Her family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday at Flora Funeral Chapel.
May she be remembered for her kind smile, giving heart and the best hugs imaginable... and her meatloaf, we can’t forget her meatloaf.
Arrangements are being handled by Flora Funeral Service in Rocky Mount.
