Patricia Ann Sink, age 48 of Wirtz went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 20, 2007.
She was born on July 23, 1959 to Hillard Shively, Sr. and Elizabeth Drewry Shively.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, known as “Biz” to her granddaughters. She also attended Burnt Chimney United Methodist Church and worked at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was also a volunteer and lifetime member of Red Valley Rescue Squad.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Lee Shively; her niece, Billie Jo Bandy; father-in-law, Jimmie C. Sink; and her grandparents, George and Ethel Shively and Pedro and Thelma Drewry.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 29 years, Ricky Herbert Sink; loving daughters, Kimberly Dawn Cooper and husband, Doug, Jamie Leigh Sink and special friend, Zachary Nunley; her pride and joy, granddaughters Anna Marie and Emma Nicole Cooper; her father, Hillard C. Shively, Sr., Wirtz; mother, Elizabeth Shively, Penhook; two brothers, H.C. Shively, Jr. and Danny Wayne Shively and Melinda; sister, Lois Shively Hopper, all of Wirtz. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Maxine Sink; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and B.J. Sink; sister and brothers-in-law, Susan and Wallace Crowe, Bonnie and Doug Holland. Also surviving are special nieces and nephews, numerous aunts and uncles, including a special aunt and uncle, Virginia and James Hodges; her dear and loving best friend, Debbie Dillon.

Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007 with the Rev. Dr. Patricia Meadows and Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Carilion Hospice, 390 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 or Burnt Chimney United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 63, Wirtz, VA 24184.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
