Rev. Patrick Collins

Patrick Collins was called home to meet the Lord whom he had served as pastor and interim pastor for over 56 years in the ministry in Franklin County and several other locations. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Marjorie Collins; two sons, Patrick Marsh Collins, Jr. and wife Donna, and Anthony C. Collins and wife Donna Boles; four grandchildren, Brandon Collins (Christine), Nicole “Toni” Quick (Monty), Austin Collins, and Allison Hebb (TJ). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Christopher Collins, Audrey Quick, and Luke Hebb. He was a veteran of both the Army and Air Force. He thoroughly enjoyed gardening and making woodworking projects for his grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and a very sweet loving man that will be missed immensely by all who knew him. A private graveside service will be held Saturday at Furnace Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
