Paul Richard Boychuck of Union Hall, Virginia died on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He fought a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was born June 21, 1934 in New York, NY, the son of Anthony and Mary Boychuck. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Albert Kricko, Robert Kricko and Peter Boychuck.

Paul graduated from the Manhattan School of Aviation Trades and served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years, retiring with an honorable discharge in 1974. He followed that with 16 years of civil service with the Navy Air Rework Facility in Norfolk, Va. He was a lifetime member of the Fleet Reserve Association, committee member of the U.S. NAS Floyd Bennett Field Reunion Association and a charter member of the BHUBAs, the Boys of Union Hall Breakfast Association.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Carol (Jackson) Boychuck; his son, Stephen (Loretta) Boychuck of Chester, Va.; daughters, Lisa (Richard) Evans of Richmond, Va., Donna (Gary) Roberson of Burlington, NC., and Heather (Jeff) Sanders of Union Hall, Va.; also eight grandchildren, Brittany (Tony) Comento, Adam (Amanda) Ford, Melissa Ford, Travis Evans, Stephanie (Chris) Anderson, Dakota Boychuck, Hayley Sanders and Bryan Sanders; and three great-grandchildren, Luke Comento, Lily Ford and Baby Anderson.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Redwood United Methodist Church with Pastors Clayton and Sarah Payne officiating. His family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the service.
