Paul S. Wharton

Paul S. Wharton, age 94 of Hardy died Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ruth Wharton; three children, Norma Kathleen Hodges, Paul David Wharton and Judith Ann Moore; one brother; and one sister. He is survived by his children, Margaret Inez Maners, Paulette Ruth McCoy, Janet Rose Altizer and John Charles Wharton; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was a Clerk with the Railroad and was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran serving during World War II. A viewing for family and close friends will be held 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service. A private graveside service for family only will take place at Mountain View Memorial Park.
