Paula Kaye Smith Gallatin

Paula Kaye Smith Gallatin, age 56 of Ferrum went home to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, September 2, 2021. She was born May 30, 1965 in Rocky Mount, Virginia a daughter of Paul Kent Smith and Betty Hodges Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Kent Smith; sister-in-law, Gladys Woods Smith; and step-father, Jerry Hayes. Surviving are her daughter, Maranda Smith of Kingsport, TN; mother, Betty Hayes of Rocky Mount; and three brothers, Roger Smith of Ferrum, Wayne (Cindy) Smith of Bassett, Steve (Becky) Smith of Rocky Mount. The family would like to give a special thanks to Kindred Hospice and Raleigh Court Health and Rehab for their care.
