Pauline Nichols Sloan

Pauline Nichols Sloan, age 76 of Boones Mill died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the home of her daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Sloan. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Mark Stout; son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Christina Sloan; two grandchildren, Tabitha and Jamie; three brothers, Fletcher Nichols, Paul Nichols, Harvey Nichols; two sisters, Nancy Young, Gladys Aaron; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Butch Cooner officiating. Interment will follow in the Yopp Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
