Pearl Turner Dyer

Pearl Turner Dyer age 76, of Boones Mill, passed away Saturday May 5, 2012. She was born March 2, 1936, a daughter of the late John and Betty Turner. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. She was a member of Long Branch Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Edwin Dyer; her children, John Dyer and Betty Waggoner (Tim); five grandchildren, Michael, Theresa, Elizabeth, John and Catherine; brothers and sisters George Turner, Marie Nester (Nelson), Nancy DeLancey (Wilfred) and Thomas Turner (Sylvia). Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 8, 2012 at Flora Funeral Chapel with Elder Carl Terry officiating. Interment will follow Republican Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
