Peggy Ann Eames Sink Bennett, age 68 of Glade Hill died Friday, March 25, 2011. She was born February 1, 1943 a daughter of the late George W. and Grace Hunt Eames. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Clyde Sink; her late husband, Freddie Bennett; one son, Jeffrey Sink; sisters, Mary Frances Eames and Helen Brown; and one brother, George Wm. Eames. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Mitzi and Herman Smith; one son, Christopher S. Sink; one granddaughter, Sheila Smith, four grandsons, Jonathan, Frankie, and Hunter Smith, Colton Sink; one great-grandson, Kendall Dolan Smith; two sisters, Betty Ruth Huston and Marie Wray (Brady); and two brothers, W. Lee Eames (Doris) and Billy Eames (Merle). She is also survived by many wonderful friends. Peggy worked for Martin Processing and Ronile a total of 30 years. She was also a charter member of the Franklin County Rescue Squad. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. Walter Eames officiating. Interment will follow in the Eames Family Cemetery, Sontag. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Carilion Hospice or a favorite charity. The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice and their wonderful staff for the loving care that was given to our mother. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center and other times at the home of Herman and Mitzi Smith, 2076 Golden View Road, Glade Hill.
