Peggy Toney Hodges

Peggy T. Hodges, age 90 of Rocky Mount passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William L. Toney and her parents, Benjamin A. Hunt and Elsie Mae Hunt. Surviving Peggy is her loving husband, Junior J. Hodges; daughter, Linda T. Ginther (Ben); granddaughter, Haley Ginther; sister, Twyla Ferguson (Paul); six loving step-daughters, Sylvia Hutto (Chuck), Vicki Hodges, Debra Arthur (Steve), Carol Gibson, Sheila Kreisel (Warren) and Beth Wilkes (Richard); The Beeghly family, Richmond, VA; step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild. Peggy retired after many years of service from Krogers, in Rocky Mount. Many thanks to Red Oak Manor and Amedisys Hospice for their care. Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024 with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
