Peggy Young Lacks

Peggy Young Lacks, age 80 of Rocky Mount died Monday, July 2, 2018. She was born March 26, 1938 and was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bessie Young; son, Michael Gregory Lacks; brothers and sister, Otha, Everett, Russell, Eldridge Young and Lula Scott. Surviving are her husband, Sherman Lacks; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lacks worked many years at DuPont before retiring from Ronile in Rocky Mount. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Franklin Memorial Park with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Her family will receive friends 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
